The Full Story

Kylie Mackenzie is a 7th grade student at Indian Land Middle School. She is a member of the ILMS Dance Team, Dance U Company team, and is active in various service projects around her community. Some of these projects include Building and maintaining a neighborhood Lending Library, Volunteering at Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walks, Serving underprivileged communities with Mel’s Diner, and Performing for and talking to Edgewater Memory Care Center residents. For these projects she was awarded with The Gold Presidential Service Award!

Her hobbies are redesigning clothing to give existing garments a second life, cooking/baking, collecting stamps in her passport, creating organic skincare, crocheting with my Nana, being a dance teachers assistant with Dance U, and of course competitive dance.
